John Richard Coggin is my Great Grandfather. I only recently found him on findagrave and the person who was maintaining the BIO for him graciously turned him over to me. I don't know alot about him but I learned from a brother of mine that his family had a ongoing feud over cattle and my great grandfather was shot by a family that they were continuously feuding with and he carried the bullet inside him until his death. His 16 year old brother was shot and killed in a feud with the same family feud late one night while he was riding in the boat. He and his wife Polly Ann(Null)Coggin had 10 Children. One Child was Levie Barker Coggin which is my grandfather and the father of my father Willie Richard Coggin.
