Florence Bahr, age 90, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre, Missouri. She was born June 21, 1921 in Festus, the daughter of the late Etta (nee Ware) and Robert Dunn. She also was preceded in death by her husband Norman C. Bahr.
She is survived by a daughter Doretta L. Kneusel and husband Norvel of Bismarck, Missouri, sons Robert Bahr and wife Patricia of San Antonio, Texas, and Franklyn Bahr and wife Rosa of Festus, grandchildren Kathy Good and husband Charles, Sandy Burnett, Howard Bahr and wife Stephanie, David Bahr and wife Trudy and Mindy Huffman and husband Jason, great-grandchildren Zachary Burnett, Tommy, Jennifer and Sharon Bahr, Paige, Corey, Kendall and Justin Huffman.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City, Missouri and had formerly been active with the VFW #3777 Ladies Auxiliary, Festus-Crystal City Conservation Club, and the twin city Extension Club of the University of Missouri.
Visitation from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus, with funeral services at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Interment Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crystal City.
