Aaron S. Ruble Is Claimed By Death
Dies Friday At Home Of Son Near Plum Tree, Funeral Sunday
Aaron S. Ruble, 73, died Friday at the home of a son, Holland Ruble, one-half mile west of Plum Tree. He had been suffering from heart trouble for a year.
Born in Salamonie township, Huntington county, on May 11, 1860, he was a son of Jonathan and Ruth Ruse Ruble. He was married to Della Hubbard.
Surviving are the widow and two son and two daughters, Holland Ruble, Plum Tree; Vergil Ruble and Mrs. Roy Daugherty, Warren, and Mrs. Ernest Shideler, Roanoke. A brother, James Ruble, Liberty Center, and a sister Mrs. James Myers, Pleasant Plain, also survive.
The deceased was a member of the Plummers Chapel Wesleyan church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Plum Tree Christian church, with Rev. H. T. Hawkins and Rev. Guy Walters in charge. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Dave's note: Aaron Sylvester Ruble (1860-1934) is the s/o Jonathan W. Ruble (1816-1872) and Ruth Ruse (1823-1907). Aaron married Della Malissa Hubbard (1872-1953) who is the d/o William P. and Melissa (Wilmore) Hubart. The son, Holland E. Ruble (1903-1985) married M. Esther Thompson (1904-1998).
