"BEAN, SAMUEL ROBERT -- age 81, of North Knoxville, died 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 1992, at Hillcrest Central Nursing Home. Preceded in death by wife, Elsie Reno Bean; daughter, Mary Annette Bean; son-in-law, Bill Tillery. Survivors: daughter, Alma Tillery; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Gilbert Hensley, Pat and Bob Ford, Dolly and Larry Thomas, all of Knoxville; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance to New Gray Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Friday for a 2 p.m. graveside service and interment, Rev. Rocky Ramsey, officiating. Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave., at Broadway."
