Bertha Roberts--Bertha F. Roberts, 44, of 318 N. Van Buren died at 4:30 pm Nov. 16 at home. She was born July 3, 1936, in Pennsylvania to Harold and Laura Minteer Fitzgerald, and lived here most of her life. A nurse's aide at St. Joseph Hospital here, she attended Agency Methodist Church and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary. She married Gerald E. Roberts in 1960. Survivors her husband; a daughter, Connie at home; sons Gerald E. Roberts at home, Alan Price of New Mexico, and Paul Price of Agency; a grandson; her parents of Agency; a brother. Leon Fitzgerald of Maine; and a sister. Grace Christy of Missouri. Services: tentatively set for 1:30 pm Thursday at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, the Rev. Gerald McGee officiating Burial: Agency Cemetery.
Note: Bertha's grave seems not yet to have been found; her parents Harold and Laura are also buried in the Agency Cemetery, per newspaper obituaries, but no graves seem to have yet been located.
