Survived by a son and three daughters and two grandchildren. Also a brother, Earl Brown of Wapakoneta, and four sisters, Mrs. George (Cora) Higgins of Detroit, Mrs. Harold (Mamie) Schueler of Detroit, Mrs. Vernon (Esther)Tester of Troy and Mrs. John (Lucile) Waldman of Wapakoneta.
Mr Brown was employed as the bus superintendent for the Wapakoneta city school system. He was a staff sergeant in World War II, a member of the 390th Bomb Group, the 570th Bomb Squadron and served with the Dutch underground. He was also past president of the Wapakoneta Country Club and Wapakoneta Elks Club 1170.
