daughter of Effie C. Edwards and Robert Henry Goodpasture both of Hart Co., KY. Siothia was apparently named for her maternal grandmother Siothia Jane (Carter) Edwards. She was born in Modena MO when her father had been sent to northern Missouri from Illinois by the Methodist Church. For a while he was a minister. Siothia's parents divorced. Effie and their three children returned to KY, living in Barren Co for a while, then settling in Louisville. Siothia "Fannie" married Arnold Curtis Miller 10 Apr 1920 in Clark Co., Indiana. They had 6 children: Arnold Robert (died in infancy), Francis Lucille, Curtis Junior, Nettie Katherine, Thelma Jane, and Betty G. Unfortunately, Fannie did not live to raise her children. She died at the age of 28 of meningitis.
