She was born May 15, 1905 in American Fork, Utah, to Robert and Maud Householder Deakin. She married Guy Beckstrom, September 25, 1923; marriage later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, August 28, 1950. He died September 28, 1977. She married John E. Jolley, July 5, 1979 in the Idaho Falls Temple, he died December 27, 1981. She has been an active member of the LDS Church and has served as temple worker in the Salt Lake and Provo LDS Temples. She has also worked in the Primary, Mutual and Relief Society and was a visiting teacher all of her life. She has lived in Mt. Pleasant, Bingham, West Jordan and Summer City, New Mexico.
Survived by children, Mrs. Robert (Myrtle) Foist, Silver City, New Mexico; Kenneth and his wife, Karon Beckstrom, Darrell and his wife, RaeLene Beckstrom, West Jordan; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; Step-children, Lenore Wagstaff, John Jolley, Gary Jolley, Bill Jolley, all American Fork; Dan Jolley, Connie Morgan and Julie VanWagner, all Lehi; 38 step-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Norris Deakin, Gordon Deakin, Irene Randall, Don Deakin; preceded in death by two sons, LeGrande and Darwin; brothers, Robert and Max, and sister, Lola Cole.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, 12 noon, Bingham Creek 7th ward. 7850 So. Redwood Rd. Friends called Friday 6-8 p.m. at the McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 So.
Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery.
