Mrs. Hively was born Oct 13, 1893 in the Lander Wilderness, the daughter of Wyoming pioneers, Fredrick and Rosie Uriens. As a young girl she moved to Omaha, Neb., later returning to Wyoming in her 20s.
She married Edward H. Hively in Casper in 1916. She worked at Pearl White Laundry until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice Lowndes; two sisters Susie Davis and Ina McGee of Casper; three grandchildren, Joe E. Lowndes, Edward M. Lowndes of Casper and Mrs. Gary Michiel of Ogden, Utah; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and two neices.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, a daughter Bessie, two small sons, and her brother, Roy Uriens.
Memorials may be made to the Winter Memorial Presbyterian Church. Bustard Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
