Mary came to TX to be close to her children. All 6 of her sons were in the Civil War. Their son, Hugh Dickson Boozer, born June 1842 in Abbeville, Greenwood Co., S. Carolina married Judith Orcene Gresham on Oct, 2, 1865. Judith was the dau. of James and Sarah Frances (Ashford). Sarah was the granddaughter of Simon and Marly L. "Polly" (Goree) Ashford.
