Roy Donald Agnell, 64, of 347 S. Briant Street, died at 9 a.m. today in the Huntington County Hospital. He had been a patient one day, had been in failing health for the past two years and seriously ill for two weeks.

Mr. Agnell was born 7 March 1900 at Broadhead, Wisconsin to August Theodore Agnell and his wife, Anna Matilda Bartling.

He married Alta Faye Sellers April 1941, she died 3 April 1951. Roy then married Lucinda Soloma Goodmiller Hirneise Circle 14 September 1952.

Surviving are the widow; two step-daughters, Mrs. Wallace (Betty) Swander, Ft. Wayne and Mrs. Paul (Patricia) Okuly, Huntington; six step grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Agnell, Chicago; 2 sisters, Mrs. Virgil (Dorothy) Stephens and Mrs. Alberta Blackford, both of Huntington and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call in the Merckx Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday until the hour of the funeral at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Wallace B. Rummel officiating. Burial will be Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
