P.J. retired from General Dynamics. He was a 50-year Mason, a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church, and his hobbies were fishing and restoring Model T's and Model A's.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Mae Walton; and daughter Mary Nell Bassham and her husband, John.
Survivors: Brother, George Walton; granddaughter, Debbie McGlynn and husband, Michael; grandson, John Bassham; stepdaughter, Arlene Pearcy and husband, John; stepson, Bill Henderson and wife, June; and stepgrandchildren, Brian Henderson, Brad Henderson, Angela Fincher and their children.
