Obituary: ""THOMAS B. RHEA -- Thomas B. Rhea, 64, of 184 Woodycrest Dr., East Hartford, died Friday at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Ponce De Leon, Mo., and lived in East Hartford for 20 years. He was employed as a bus driver for the Connecticut Co. for 30 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and was a retired member of the Army Reserve. He was a member of Emanual Congregational Church, the East Windsor Sportsmen's Club and the Metropolitan Revolver League. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lena Hooper Rhea; a brother, William Rhea of South Bend, Wash., and four sisters, Mrs. Clifford Lohss (sic) and Mrs. Jack Carlson, both of Elma, Wash., Mrs. A. Gehrts of Forest Grove, Ore., and Mrs. Beulah Flood of Ponce De Leon, Mo. The funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. Burial will be in the Veterans' Memorial Field, Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford, with full military honors. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m."
