A very pretty wedding ceremony was performed at the Christian parsonage last Thursday, May 5th, 1921; at which time Miss Helen Iva (sic) Davis of near Belleville became the wife of Mr. Clarence Palmer, of Chester, Rev. R. V. Hughes of the Belleville Christian church (sic) , having spoken the words that made them one. Both of the contracting parties are well known in the north part of the county and are members of prominent families of that community. They have the best wishes of a large circle of friends who with the Telescope join in wishing them much joy happiness and prosperity on their future voyage over life's eventful ocean. They will be at home on a farm near Chester. The ceremony was witnessed by only the immediate relatives and friends.
