Charles Frederick Ehlenbach Jr., age 91, passed away Wednesday December 10, 2014 in Xenia, Ohio. Charles was born January 19, 1923 in Newell, West Virginia the son of the late Charles Frederick Ehlenbach Sr. and Mable Irene Chambers Woods. Charles is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mildred Englerth Ehlenbach. Charles is survived by his daughters: Shirley Johnson Ehlenbach of Xenia, Betty Carrier (Steven) of Wilmington and Judith Bowman Ehlenbach of Davenport, FL.; grandchildren: Monica Hogan (Matt), Jessica Woodward (Scott), Keith Carrier (Jill), Sarah Bowman and David Bowman; great grandchildren: Nathan Hogan, Gabby Hogan, Zachary Hogan, Sarah Woodward, John Woodward, and Kenzie Carrier. Also surviving is a brother Rudy Stephens (Mary). Charles served his country in the United States Army during WWII, was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 784 Far Hills, Eastern Star Victory Chapter, and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Shrine-Harmony #38 of Dayton. Charles enjoyed word searches, bingo and reading the Bible.
