Mrs. Nora Susan Allen, 83 years old, 2204 North 28 Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas died February 25, 1963 at a local hospital after a long illness. She had been a resident of Fort Smith for 38 years, and was a member of Midland Heights Methodist church. Survivors include her husband, Robert; one son; four daughters, Ethel, Mrs. Haslip, Bessie and Louise; three brothers, Thell, Joe, and Buck; 29 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Allen was a sister to the late Mrs. A. S. Triplett of Van Buren and she as the last member of that immediate family. She is survived nephews, Clyde, Reno, Fritz; and a niece, Mrs. Beckman. The funeral service was held at 2 o'clock Wednesday in Edwards Funeral Home chapel with James Chandler offficiating. Burial was in Roselawn cemetery.
