Our loving mother and grandmother, Norma Estella Johnson England passed away on the evening of May 8, 2008 at her home in Tooele, Utah at the age of 95.

She was born in Grantsville, Utah on January 17, 1913 to Charles Emil and Ellen Augusta Johnson. She married Joseph Elmo England in the Salt Lake Temple on October 13, l932. Together they had two children, Gary and Judy. Elmo preceded her in death on February 1, 1993.

Norma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints. She served in the Primary, MIA, Sunday School, Relief Society and was a caring visiting teacher for 47 years. Her first love in the LDS Church was serving in Sunday School, where she taught for 27 years. She enjoyed attending the temple as often as possible. She had the opportunity to serve as a temple worker and was blessed to have had many wonderful experiences in the temple, which she treasured throughout her life. Norma enjoyed her beautiful rose garden and for many years, loved to share a bouquet of roses each Sunday with her ward. One of her loves was to travel with her husband and family to various locations worldwide. At one time, Norma and Elmo could say that they had traveled to every temple throughout the world. Regardless of where she traveled, one of her favorite places on earth was South Willow Canyon in Grantsville, Utah, where she had many fond memories with family and friends. Norma was a wonderful cook and loved to share whatever she made with others. Her granddaughters will always treasure the time they spent learning her secrets for baking cookies and pies. They also spent the summer making dolls out of hollyhocks.

She is survived by two children, Gary (Colleen) England and Judy (David) Millburn; eight grand children; 30 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings; Edla (Eugene) Stewart, Mary (Leo) Shields, Virginia (Charles) Palmer, Don (Jeanine) Johnson, Joe (Marcel) Johnson, Tennyson (Ida) Johnson, Bessie Bogle, and Della Johnson. We want to thank some very special people that helped us thru this difficult time. They are Jennifer Eva, Sharon Lintner and Siofilinga Folau. "Mom, we love you and will miss you daily".

The Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Tooele 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, 141 West Utah Avenue, Tooele Utah, with a Visitation prior from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Church.
Interment: Tooele City Cemetery.
