Marceline Wattier Spooner Trudell was twice married. Her first husband was Thoephilus Spooner. He died in 1882. She then married Charles Trudell who died in 1904. Marceline is buried in Notre Dame cemetery in the plot with her daughter, Matilda Spooner Baker.

Ogdensburg Journal - June 3, 1914
Mrs. Marceline Trudell, widow of Charles Trudell, was found dead in bed this morning at her home, corner of Pine and Lake streets, where she lived alone. As she had not been seen since Monday afternoon, neighbors made an investigation this morning at 11 and upon entering the house found her a corpse. The body was cold and there was every indication that death had occurred many hours before. Coroner Henry S. Stillwell was notified and after making an examination and inquiring into the circumstances he rendered a verdict that the death was probably due to apoplexy and that it occurred about forty-eight hours before.

Mrs. Trudell was about 70 years of age and is survived by five daughters and one son, as follows: Mrs. John Fox, Mrs. Joel Hastings, Mrs. Henry Baker, Mrs. Joseph Farley, Mrs. Louis Dashnaw, and Theophilus Spooner.
