Obituary for John Thomas Cobb

Mr. John Cobb was born in Illinois, in the year of 1873 and died Saturday morning at 5:30, July 30, 1932. He came to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Cobb Sr., while a mere baby and has made Taney county his home ever since, living near Mildred, Mo.
He was a very faithful religious man, having made his peace with God eighteen years ago, He suffered his sickness patiently until he said, "I'm ready to go."
He was a very kind and faithful husband and father.
He was united in marriage to Alecta Smith and to this union were born four children, Bill, Lester, George (deceased) and Nezzia.
He is survived by three brothers; Dave, Charley, and Jess; six sisters; Caudie Mankey, Dollie Edwards, Leona Crouch, Mary Crouch, Almeda and Marguerite, the last four being deceased.
Funeral services were held at the Brittain Cemetery near Blackwell's Ferry Sunday, July 3, 1932 at 11 a.m. Mr. Harrison Vaughn officiated at the services. Besides his relatives he leaves a host of friends to mourn his loss.
