Ambrose R. Jagger, of Westbrookville, a retired production foreman with Channel Master, Ellenville and longtime resident of the area, died Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Milford Senior Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was 93.

He was born September 27, 1909 in Madison, N.J., the son of the late Mercer Jagger and Elizabeth Litts Jagger. He was the widower of Rena Ann Bensinger Jagger; she died June 9, 1980. Surviving are his son, Robert C. Jagger and his wife, Bonnie, of Westbrookville; two brothers, Richard Jagger of Greeley, Pa. and Walter Jagger of Hatfield, Pa.; two sisters, Bertha Linsley of Arlington, Va. and Ellen Mae Bryson of Canaan, N.H.; granddaughter, Brenda Jagger of Monticello; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 16 at 1 p.m. at the Westbrookville Cemetery, with the Rev. Ronald G. Clark officiating.

Burial will be at Westbrookville Cemetery, Westbrookville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mamakating First Aid Squad, Wurtsboro.
