Cyntheal "Teal" Rosemary, of Beaumont passed away peacefully on Friday morning after a long illness.

Born to Thomas and Beulah Stallings, she was raised in Beaumont along with three other siblings, Thomas, Clifford, and her younger sister Ruth. After graduating from Charlton Pollard High School, she went on to Wiley College in Marshall, Texas where she successfully completed a cosmetology curriculum. She returned to Beaumont as a licensed beautician and owned and operated her own beauty shop.

In 1943, she married James Isaac Lee, Sr. also of Beaumont and their bond resulted in four children, Patricia, James, Jr., Denise and David. After the children left home, she went on to work for a day care facility.

She spent her latter years with her husband and constant companion, James Sr. until she was stricken by a debilitating illness. Teal, as her friends and family lovingly called her, will always be remembered for her kind heart, an unconditional love, loyalty and her loving and nurturing ways for family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Isaac Lee, Sr.; and daughter, Patricia Lee Larkin. She is survived by her sons, James Lee, Jr., and David Lee; daughter, Denise Lee-Ross; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a number of dear friends.
