Dorothy E. Anderson, 76, of Manassas, passed away March 12, 2015.
Born November 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Elmore and Dorothy Wells Fox. Dorothy was married to William Owen Anderson, Sr. who preceded her in death on July 26, 1997.
Dorothy was also preceded in death by 1 grandson. Survivors include her three children, William O. "Punky" Anderson, Jr. and his wife Sue of Triangle; May Anderson of Manassas; Claire Elizabeth " Lizzy" Lowe; two sisters, Catherine Lang of Manassas Park; Shirley Benson and her husband John of Manassas; one brother, Irvin Fox, Jr. of Manassas Park; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend H.G. Leach officiating.
Interment will take place in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
