He was born on Feb. 5, 1921, in Owen County to the late Howard and Irene (Collier) Berry.
On Sept. 12, 1969, he married Sadie L. (Montgomery) Berry. She preceded him in death on July 29, 1998.
He was a real estate investor and contractor for over 40 years in the Martinsville area.
He was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Martinsville.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Berry of Martinsville and Leo Berry of Lakeland, Fla.; two grandchildren, Clark Berry and Gail Smith; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbert Berry.
Rev. Bob Weimer will officiate a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 140 E. Poston Road, Martinsville.
Visiting hours will be 4:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Neal & Summers Mortuary and from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday at the church.
Burial will follow in Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery.
