She was a loving mother, wife and homemaker for more than 45 years. She also was a member of the Elmira Fire Sirens. Mrs. Cheechov is survived by her son, Anthony of Elmira; daughter, Kathy Ensley of Elmira; sister, Alice Edwards of Pleasant Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
