Elizabeth was born in Lewiston, Burnet, TX to Clifford D. May (1904-1973) and Goldie Smith (1910-1941). Both of her parents were born in Oklahoma. She married George James Cheechov on 05 Jul 1952 in Dixon, Solano, CA. They had two children: Anthony and Katherine. According to the expanded CA Death Index, she died of cancer.

Graveside services for Elizabeth Cheechov, 67, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
The Rev. Leo Nelson will officiate.

Born in Lewiston, Texas, on May 9, 1932, Mrs. Cheechov died Sept. 4, 1999, in Fairfield after a long illness. She lived in Solano County for 60 years. She was a loving mother, wife and homemaker for more than 45 years. She also was a member of the Elmira Fire Sirens. Mrs. Cheechov is survived by her son, Anthony of Elmira; daughter, Kathy Ensley of Elmira; sister, Alice Edwards of Pleasant Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
