He was a grandson of Thomas Hopkins. He married Emma Christensen at Logan, Utah 2 Sept 1894. She died 21 Dec 1936. He then married Laura Dyke Moore at Paris, Idaho 8 Sept 1937. Surviving are his widow and 8 sons and 3 daughters, Arthur, John Parley, Harry, Vernal, Nephi, Ellis & Cecil Hopkins, Mrs. Kezia Williams, Emma Blackburn, Harriett Park. A dau, Elsie Moore died 10 days ago. Two brothers Hyrum & Nephi Hopkins, two sisters, Mrs. Annie Hamilton and Mrs. Laura Davis. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
