REV AKERS DIES
Rev H H Akers, a retired Methodist minister, died at Dougherty Tuesday Morning aafter an extended illness. He was 79 yeaars of age and had been a resident of Dougherty about a quarter of a century. He is survived by a wife, two sons and three daughters, all of whom live at Dougherty.
The funeral was held at Dougherty Tuesday afternoon. Religious services were conducted by Rev S M Abston of this city, and the Masons of Davis and Dougherty held fraternal services. Mesrs R B Hutchins, J W Wallis, E B Turner, Jas Barwis and Rev Abston of Davis attended the funeral.
