Peter was born in Luxembourg. He came to the USA with his family. Peter married Margaretha Konen March 3, 1864. Father of Margaret, Helena, Christina, Edward, Margaret(Gansen) and Peter Alvis Schaff. Dear son of John & Margaretha(Eichel) of Ypsilanti. Brother of Gertrude Smith and John Schaff, also of Ypsi. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
*Note: My research finds that Peter died about 1885. No evidence yet of this. Not even sure if he's buried here. He might be buried at St. Alphonsus Church Cemetery where he was married.
