Born October 18, 1917 in New York City, NY, he was a son of the late Francesco and Louisa (Farcetti) DiGiovanna. Anthony served in the Army in World War II and was an engineer in the aerospace industry. He was also a parishioner of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Unionville.
Besides his wife, Anthony is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Dr. Anthony and Patricia DiGiovanna, Jr. of Cortland, NY; a daughter and son-in-law Ellen and Richard Tosi of Spring Lake, NJ; three grandchildren Mary Elizabeth, Daniel and Sarah DiGiovanna and one niece. He was predeceased by his first wife Mary (Burnikel) DiGiovanna, one brother and four sisters.
A Mass will be held Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Main St. (Rt. 4), Unionville.
Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Bristol.
Calling hours will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol.
