MRS. MARY PRUDENCE ABELL, 91, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, March 19, at Mary Immaculate Hospital. She had been in ill health for several months. Mrs. Abell had made her home for the last six years with Mr. & Mrs. Albert Leake at St. Francis. A native of Raywick, born September 10, 1875, she was a daughter of the late Wilford & Mary Jane McCauley Blair. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The body was at Mattingly Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Church by the Rev. William A. Spalding. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery.
