MRS. C. E. LAMB
DIES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. C. E. Lamb, 65, of 706 Oakland Avenue, S. E., native of Henry County and resident of Atlanta for 20 years, died late Sunday night in a private hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of J. Austin Dillon Company, with the Rev. E. M. Altman officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are five daughters, Mrs. J. R. Gilbert, of Stockbridge and Mrs. J. L. Jarrett, Mrs. P. E. Binns, Mrs. A. A. Ransom, Jr., and Mrs. J. a. Manning, of Atlanta; six sons, L. A. Lamb of New Orleans; C. D., J. C., C. W., P. B. and J. F. Lamb, of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Goodwin, of Atlanta; Mrs. Mamie Nail of McDonough and Mrs. Treller Stancell, of Griffin; a brother Cam Daniel, of Hampton; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
