Clarence Woodcock 22, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Woodcock, died at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the King's Daughters Hospital, Gulfport, from the result of injuries to his left leg a week ago today when he was thrown into the blades of a horse-drawn mowing machine and which resulted in the amputation of his leg. The deceased had lived since the death of his parents at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duckworth of Orange Grove community. He was working on the Duckworth farm when injured. He is survived by five brothers and two sisters, all of whom live in this section except two brothers. Floyd at Sabine Pass, TX and Vernon at Hattiesburg. He was a nephew of Mrs. George H. Stone of 22nd Avenue, Mrs. H. S. Bosarge of Saucier and W. J. Woodcock of Gulfport. Funeral arrangements had not been made this afternoon.

FUNERAL SERVICES SET
Funeral services for Clarence Woodcock, son of Mr. & Mrs. Sylvester Woodcock, who died at the King's Daughters Hospital yesterday afternoon, will be held at the home of George Johnson, Lyman, Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Sheldon Dodge, pastor of Grace memorial church, Gulfport, officiating. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery, Long Beach
