She was born in Columbia, South Carolina, raised in Orange, and had been in the Beaumont area since 1975.
Her parents, George G. and Katherine Loewen; and her sister, Louella Long preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Thomas M. McNamara; daughter, Kathy Russell and her husband Gene; and sons, Mike McNamara and his wife Bonnie and Louis McNamara; three grandchildren, Jeff Winney, Tom McNamara and Maxine McNamara; two step grandchildren, Kevin Russell and Greg Russell; and three step great grandchildren.
