Gilbert Quinn "Chris" Chrismon, 75, of Chrismon Farm Road died Monday, September 4, 2006, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Tillman officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Chrismon was born in Rockingham County to the late Charlie Green Chrismon and Delma Scearce Chrismon.
Mr. Chrismon was a well thought of tobacco farmer in Ruffin and the Oregon Hill community.
He was of the Baptist faith, a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved all of his grandchildren.
He loved gardening and walking in the mall with his friends.
Chris was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lawrence Chrismon and brother, Larrie Dean Chrismon.
