DEATH CALLS FOR MRS. S. ROBERTS
Mrs. Susan B. Roberts, who has been in poor health for some time past, died Monday. She was a native of North Carolina, where she was born in 1842 and has resided in California for 51 years, most of this time in Santa Rosa. Mrs. Roberts is survived by a son, Lilburn Roberts, a daughter [Matilda "Tillie" Roberts Look], and other relatives.

MRS. SUSAN ROBERTS IS LAID TO FINAL REST
Relatives and old friends of Mrs. Susan Roberts, a well-known resident of this city for many years, attended her funeral held Wednesday. The Rev. W E. Potwine, rector of the Episcopal church, was the officiating priest. The casket was covered with beautiful floral pieces.

Note: Burial information from her death certificate. Although 3 January 1842 was listed as her birthdate on her death certificate, Susan was 18 years old in the 1850 U. S. Census, Morgan County, Indiana, making her birth year 1832. Informant on death certificate was son, Curtis Lilburn Roberts.
