Mary A. Lehmann, Owen Hagen Wed at Trempealeau.

Trempealeau, Wis. (Special) in a candellight wedding ceremony, Miss Mary Alice Lehmann, daugther of Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Lehmann, Trempealeau, became the bride of Owen Wendall Hagen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hagen, Hixton, Wis. at the Federated Church here May 15. at 8. p.m. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. A.E Attwood. Baskets of snapdragons and carnations formed a background for the ceremony. Mrs. Sverre Aasen, organist played the processional and recessional, and was accompanist for Mrs. Basil Olson, who sang " Because," "Oh Perfect Love" and " The Lords Prayer" . Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was gowned in white lace over tafetta. Her veil of net was held by a crown of seed pearls and she carried red roses and stephanotis. Twin sisters were her attendants. Miss Amey Lehmann was maide of honor in a gown of orchid net over tafetta, and Miss Anne Lehmann wore an identical dress in light green. They wore matching hats and carried yellow and pink carnations. Capt. Guy B. Hagen, Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., was best man for his brother. Duane Herbert, Pigeon Falls, was groomsman. William Lehmann, the brides brother, and James Beebe, ushered. The brides mother was attired in a navy dress with white accesorries and wore a corsage of pink roses and the bridegroom's mother wore a navy suit with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. A reception was held in the church parlors where Mrs. Paul Lehmann and Mrs. Clifford Beebe poured. Mrs. Howard Packard served wedding cake. Miss Gloria Holtet was in charge of the guestbook. For travel through southern states the bride wore a beige suit with brown accessories. The bride is a graduate of Healy Memorial High School here and attended Winona Secretarial School. She has been employed at the Missisippi Vally Public Service Co. in Winona. The bridegroom attended college in Milwaukee and is a funeral director at Pigeon Falls. Schowers were given for the bride by the women of Trempealeau Federated Church, the women of the Pigeon Falls Church and the Misses Doris Gruntzel and Lillian Rolfing, Winona.
