Taylor:__Mrs Juliette Taylor, wife of J. H. Taylor, Died at the family home on North C Street. at 6 o'clock Sunday morning, April 4th, age 72 years, eleven months and one day. Mrs. Taylor had been failing in health for some months and on Tuesday of last week was taken suddenly and seriously ill.
The first attack was followed by others from which her advanced age and limited strength made it impossible for her to rally so that her sufferings were of short duration.
Be sided her husband, the deceased is survived by seven children, C.S. Taylor and Mrs A. P. Kidwell, of Wichita; W.S. Taylor, of this city; Mrs E. E. Henry, Ponca City, Oklahoma; L. V. Taylor, New Hampton, Missouri, Mrs E.E. Reynolds, Springfield, Missouri, Mrs. J. S. Elem, of Wellington.
The deceased was born in northern Indiana and was married there in March of 1865 to Mr. J.H. Taylor, a returned soldier of the civil war.
Only a short time ago they celebrated with aw family gathering the fifty-fifth Anniversary of their marriage. A few years later they moved to the state of Missouri, where they made their home at Lebanon and New Hampton, until their coming to Wellington some eleven years ago. Mrs. Taylor was a faithful member of the Christian church and also of the Women's relief Corps, and a woman who though living a retired life held the affection and regard of many friends.
The funeral took place from the residence, 707 North C Street, at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. L. T. Faulders, of El Dorado, Former Pastor of the Christian Church here. officiating. The interment took place in Prairie Lawn Cemetery after the ritual service by the W.R.C
