ANN AGNES "NAN" OLEY, 95, of Mays Landing and formerly of the Elberon section of LONG BRANCH, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 2. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. Ann was a Brownie scout leader for many years, and with her dear sister Mae taught CCD classes for first communicants. All who knew Nan loved her for her generosity and sweet disposition.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, John; and her twin sister, Mae McGrath. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy and son-in-law, Bob O'Neill; her sister, Helen Rice; and her six granddaughters, Robyn and her husband Jim Begley, Laura Grasso, Pamela Hart, Debbie and her husband Joe Castellano, Missy and her husband Phil Stolfa, and Erica and her husband Charles Murphy; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her very special nephew, Fr. Thomas McGrath S.J.
Visitation will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Leo the Great Church in Lincroft, Middletown. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro. Special thanks to the dedicated staff of Atlantic Care Hospice, who provided compassionate care.
