Kayleen Flynn, a compassionate soul born on January 5, 1957, in Brigham City, Utah, passed away on February 24, 2024. A thoughtful and generous woman, Kayleen's zest for life was infectious, her spirit indefatigable. She held a successful career at Autoliv, where she supervised the manufacturing of airbags, ensuring safety for countless individuals on the roads. The end of her career, however, did not mark the end of her contributions to society. Instead, it allowed her to channel her energy into the people she loved the most. Kayleen's love for tradition, music, and games was second only to her love for her family and friends. Every year, she looked forward to attending Peach Days, strolling through the car show, and immersing herself in the festive atmosphere. She loved the rhythm and harmony of music, to sing and dance, bake delicious treats for the holidays as well as play a good ole game of solitaire. But her ultimate joy was her grandson, Gage. As the adage goes, "A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty," and for Kayleen, Gage was her world. Her radiant smile and sparkling eyes whenever she spoke of him were testament to the indescribable joy he brought her. Kayleen was a beacon of light in the lives of many. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lindsay Hinshaw, and her sister, Vickie Farris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Kathleen Higgins, her son, Shane Mobley, and her siblings, Carolyne Jensen and Allen Higgins. As we remember Kayleen, we are reminded of her strength, her radiance, and her immense heart. As Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Kayleen will be remembered for making us feel loved, valued, and cherished. We invite all those who cherished Kayleen to attend a viewing on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10:00am MST at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah, 84302.
