Private family services were held at White Hall Cemetery for Lillian B. Kirgan. Mrs. Kirgan, 87, died April 22 at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 13, 1920 in Walkerville, the daughter of the late Joshua and Elizabeth Pence Ward. She married Clyde C. Kirgan in 1939; he died in 1988. She owned and operated three cafes during the 1960s and 1970s. Many people knew her by her nickname "Skip". She was a past member of the Walkerville Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters; two sons; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Della Betz of Jerseyville and two brothers. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the White Hall Cemetery in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 260, White Hall, IL 62092.
