Doris L. (Farmer) Bennett, 74, a resident of Tewksbury for more than 40 years, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at her home.
She was the wife of Bernard T. "Red" Bennett, who died May 16, 1995.
She was born in Lowell, on Dec. 19, 1932, daughter of the late Michael B. and Mildred (Noble) Farmer. She was raised in Lowell, and attended Lowell schools.
Mrs. Bennett was employed for the past 10 years by Ayotte's Municipal Central Parking in Lowell. She enjoyed shopping, walking and listening to music performed by Dean Martin.
She is survived by three daughters, Bernice D. Chess of Hudson, N.H., Brenda L. Clement of Lowell, and Diane M. Bennett of Tewksbury; two sons-in-law, Stephen M. Chess of Hudson, N.H., and John E. Clement Jr. of Dracut; and three grandsons, Joshua, Jason and Justin Clement.
She is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mildred Cizek of Lowell, and Lillian and Gene Pudsey of Brookline, N.H.; and a brother; Edward Farmer of Lowell.
She was also the sister of the late Bernard, Paulie, Thomas, Robert, William and Steve Farmer.
Burial in Tewksbury Cemetery.
