He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired member of Structural Ironworkers Local 433. Jerry is survived by his wife, Annie; daughter, Christine (Michael) Saletta; son, Dustin; three grandchildren, Melissa and Giana Saletta and Zebadiah Hoskin, all of Las Vegas; brothers, Clarence (Peggy) of Las Vegas, and Edwin (Edith) of Logan, Utah; sisters, Alta (Leon) Paice of Beaver, Utah, Charlene (Dean) Pierce, Janice (Frank) Lewis and B. Joan Clark, all of Salt Lake City. Viewing will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13. Memorial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial immediately following. In lieu of flowers please make a donation, in Jerry's name, to St. Jude's Ranch for Children, in Boulder City, St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, AmVets, or a charity of your choice.
