Birdie Bell Hawkins, 91, of Masonic Widows and Orphans Home, Louisville, and formerly of Clarkson, died February 2, 1985 at the St. Anthony Hospital in Louisville. / Mrs. Hawkins was born December 29, 1894 in Grayson County, the daughter of John Bell, and Mattie Booker Bell. Her husband, Clay Hawkins, deceased. / She was a member of the Clarkson Baptist Church. / Survivors include: one daughter, Pearl Middleton, of Louisville. / Funeral services were held February 5, at the Rogers Funeral Home, Rev. Leonard Embry officiating, with burial in the Fairview Cemetery.
