Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Hems Bros. Mortuary chapel in Calexico for Fidel Perez Olague, 86, of Calexico, who died Monday at El Centro Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hems Bros. Mortuary chapel in Calexico with Pastor Thomas Alvarez of the New Destiny Christian Center in El Centro officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Calexico.
Mr. Olague was born June 3, 1917, in El Centro. He was raised in El Centro, and then moved to Calexico.
He married Esther Loroña in January 1937 in Yuma.
Mr. Olague loved fishing, cleaning his back yard and loved his family very much, but best of all he enjoyed his life very much, according to family.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Olague of Calexico; sons, Robert Olague of Heber and Gilbert Olague of Calexico; daughter, Rosie Olague of Calexico; brother, David Olague of Heber; and sister, Aurora Soto of Selma.
