Born in Georgetown, SC, she was a retired clerk from Empire Lumber Company, Oliver, and a member of Newington United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Claude Allmond and George B. Ash, Jr.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Janice Allmond and Larry Dugger of Newington; sister, Frances P. Blackburn of Oliver; brother, Earl Porter of Gibson; granddaughter, Kim Dugger of Newington; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Newington United Methodist Church with Rev. Gordon Goodwill and Rev. Vernon Edenfield officiating.
