She was born July 15, 1928, in Tampa, FL. She resided in Lithia, FL and moved to Mulberry in 1987. She was a lab technician for a national tea company.
Mrs. Sheffield is survived by her son, Robert "Buster" Sheffield, Jr. (Dee) of Lake City; four daughters, Elaine Motsinger (Jimmy) and Diane Bryan of Mulberry, Gloria Grice (Wade) and Shirley Burzynski of Lakeland; sister, Carol Heath of Bloomingdale; brother, Jimmy Winslow of Plant City; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and many other loving family members.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pelote Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
