He leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth McGee House; one sister, Jean Batliner & husband Jim of Clarksville, Indiana plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jasper House and Edna Hibbard House; two siblings, Willa Mae McWhorter, Delford House.
Delmas was a tobacco farmer by trade, a member of the McWhorter Christian Church where he served as a deacon, and had perfect Sunday School attendance for 50 years. He was also a Kentucky Colonel.
Funeral services for Delmas (John) House will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Greg Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, KY.
