Mrs. Celine Raymond Chevalier, 82, widow of Alfred E. Chevalier, of 2199 Stratfield road, Fairfield, died yesterday in Bridgeport hospital.
Services will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Henry E. Bishop and Son funeral home, 1139 Fairfield avenue, with the Rev. Albert F. Ciacia, pastor of the Universalist Church of Greater Bridgeport, officiating. Burial will be in Park cemetery.
Mrs. Chevalier was born in France and was a resident of Fairfield 60 years. [The family immigrated to the USA on June 30, 1902.]
Survivors are two sons, Raoul Chevalier of Fairfield and Charles Chevalier of Oxford; a daughter, Mrs. Madelaine Barthelmass of Stratford; two brothers, Ferdinand Raymond of Fairfield; and Henry Raymond,of Shelton; a sister, Mrs. Julia Wellook, of Bridgeport; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
