Overbrook--Seldon Edward Tucker, 73, Overbrook, died Saturday, May 20, 1995, at his home.

Mr. Tucker owned and operated Allied Electrical Construction Co. in Topeka from 1958 to 1988. He served in the Army Ordnance Dept. in England, France and Germany in WW II.

He was born Oct. 14, 1921, in Michigan Valley, the son of John and Lulu Michols Tucker. He graduated from Michigan Valley High School.

Mr. Tucker was a member of the United Methodist Church, Anderson-Raible Post No. 239 of the Am. Legion and Ridgeway Lodge No. 62 AF & AM, all in Overbrook, Scottish Rite Bodies and Arab Shrine in Topeka and the National Electrical Contractors Association.

He was married to Dortha V. Bain Nov. 18, 1946, in Topeka. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Edward S. Tucker, Overbrook and John A. Tucker, Carbondale; two daughters, Carol T. Allen, Topeka, and Cathy T. Vogel, Lawrence, a brother, Robert L. Tucker, St. Louis; a sister, Frances Jackson, Raytown, Mo. and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Wednesday and the United Methodist Church in Overbrook. Burial will be at Overbrook Cemetery, where Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Lodge No. 62 and the American Legion.
