Sunday at 1 p.m. George Patrick died suddenly at his home in town. He has been a sufferer a good share of the time the past winter, but recently had been able to get around a little. He was born in New York state in May, 1832, and in 1856 moved to Nebraska and settled near Omaha. In 1880 he moved to Boone county, where he had since resided. While not an early settler in Boone County, he was one of the state's pioneers. Two sons, one living in Omaha and the other at Bellevue, were present at the funeral, which was held from the house Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Dr. Sisson.
