Ezra S. Carter, Jr., age 82, formerly of Brighton, Michigan joined his Savior and his beloved wife, Diana, in heaven on December 23, 2023. Ezra was born August 22, 1941, in Minden, Louisiana, to Ezra S. Carter and Mildred Lee Carter. He was a 1959 graduate of Minden High School in Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1964 with a master's in education. Ezra married his high school sweetheart, Diana, on August 18, 1961, and they spent 52 wonderful years together. They moved to Michigan in 1968 for Ezra's career with Ford Motor Company. He retired from Ford in 2003 after 34 years. As a member of Oak Pointe Country Club, he loved to golf and spend time with friends. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling and was a member of the Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brighton, Michigan.
Ezra is survived by his three children and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Diana, and his brother, Tim Carter.
